Breath Alcohol Technician and Equipment Training (BAT)    I offer Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) training to satisfy Department of Transportation 49 CFR Part 40 requirements.  We are qualified to train on Lifeloc Technologies evidentiary breath alcohol testing equipment.    Train on the      Phoenix  5000    Evidential Breath Tester  (PX 6.0)     EV 30 Kit   

This course prepares Breath Alcohol Technicians (BAT) AND or Drug Collector,  to conduct breath tests / urine collections in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation's Alcohol Testing Procedures Rule: 49 CFR Part 40. 

What is a BAT Certificate?  A Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) certificate is issued by me and attests that you fully understand the Department of Transportations' (DOT) rules and regulations detailed in their published document 49CFR Part 40 as well as instrument operation. This certificate is instrument specific and must be renewed every 5 years with the completion of a (written test) refresher course that can be mailed directly to you.    What is a Operator and Calibration Technician Certificate?
The Manufacture issues a certification attesting that you are proficient and certified to inspect, maintain, and perform calibrations/cal checks on Lifeloc equipment. This certificate is important as the DOT requires that, as a user of the EBT, you must follow the manufacturer's QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) and Lifeloc's QAP states that calibration must be performed by a qualified operator. Both the BAT certificate that I will issue and a certificate for the specific EBT you trained on are needed to ensure compliance with the provisions of 49 CFR Part 40.  Your Goals   To have Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the equipment as well as the certification to Calibrate, Cal-Check and maintain the equipment...   5 year Recertification
