Lifeloc has highly trained
technicians who can help diagnose and fix problems over the phone in
many instances. If however, your breath tester needs to be sent in for
repair, we provide the best customer service available.
Returns for Repair or Service
To help us maintain our quick response time
we ask that customers with equipment that need service or repair call us
for a Return Authorization Number (RA number) before sending the unit to
us. The procedure is the same for warranty or non-warranty work, as
follows:
1) Call
1-800-722-4872 for an RA
number. Supply pertinent information including the reason for the
return, the serial number of the unit, your company address, phone
number, a contact name, and purchase order number if required.
2) When the Lifeloc technician gives you
an RA number you may then ship your unit back to us. Please package your
unit carefully to ensure it is not damaged in transit, as Lifeloc is not
responsible for damage that occurs in the shipping process. You may want
to purchase insurance from your shipping company to cover the cost of
the unit in the event it is damaged in shipment.
3) Make certain that you write the RA
number on the outside of the box and send the package to:

IMPORTANT!
Lifeloc will not accept packages sent to us freight
collect or "billed to recipient".
- When we receive your unit it will
undergo a full factory diagnostic check. If it is in need of any
additional repairs you will be called with an estimate.
- Our typical repair time is 3 to 4 days
and we send your testers back via 2-day airfreight.

Warranty |
| All Lifeloc fuel cell PBTs come
with a one-year parts and labor warranty, effective on the date of
purchase by the end-user.
The warranty
covers:
- Parts and labor on
covered repairs
- Software Updates as
applicable
- Airfreight back to the
customer after the unit is repaired (U.S. only)

The Warranty does
not cover:
- Freight to the Lifeloc
factory for repairs
- Misuse, abuse,
negligence, or accidents
- Damage caused by
connection to improper voltage supply
|
Lifeloc reserves the right to repair
or replace a unit under warranty at its discretion.
The
warranty is not valid if the product was not purchased and paid
for in full. Proof of purchase may be required to receive warranty work.
