The AC adapter (charging cable) can be used to charge the Jupiter directly by connecting one end of the AC adapter into the unit and then plugging the other end into the wall. It can also be used along with the Alcovisor lithium ion battery charger to recharge the battery out of the Jupiter instrument. The AC adapter is used in conjunction with the Alcovisor MARK V and Mercury printer as well to provide the necessary power supply to recharge the battery by connecting one end of the AC adapter into the printer and the other end into the wall.
